Security Central is a bogus program advertised as reliable security software. It uses false scan results, fake security alerts and browser hijacking in order to scare you into purchasing this program. It is obvious that this infection just like Home Personal Antivirus and XP Deluxe Protector should be removed upon detection, otherwise SecurityCentral may cause even more damage. Remember, do not purchase this program!

Security Central is form the same family as XP Police Antivirus. Once installed, this program will ostensibly scan your computer. The scan results are false and can be easily ignored, however, don’t remove these files, because some of them might be legitimate ones. Otherwise, you can make your computer unstable. To add some more, Security Central will constantly display very annoying security alerts about various infections and security issues. These alerts are fake too. Step 1: Reboot your computer, keep pressing F8 key and select “Safe Mode with Networking” with your arrow key. Press Enter key and your computer will boot in Safe Mode.

Step 2: Download Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware (Download Link), (Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware information)install it and update its database to the latest. After that, reboot your computer to make Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware fully functional, repeat Step 1 into Safe Mode and run a full scan of your computer.
